  After graduating from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan (BBA), Matko began his career in Agrokor Group, the largest CEE retail and FMCG company. Matko was primarily engaged Group’s debt capital markets financings and M&A.

  In 2010 Matko joined the Investment banking department of InterCapital Securities, the largest regional non-banking securities firm. At InterCapital he executed numerous capital markets and M&A transactions with focus on transportation and energy sectors.

  Matko also holds a LLM Finance degree from Goethe University (Institute for Law and Finance) in Germany and is currently the assistant professor at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management.
