Prof. dr. sc. Siniša Petrović

  • Petrovic photoProf. dr. Siniša Petrović was born on 5 December 1966 in Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb in 1990, where he also obtained his LL.M. degree in 1994 and his Ph.D. degree in 1998, with a doctoral thesis entitled “Mergers and other concentrations from the perspective of company law”. In 1995 he passed the Croatian bar exam. He is a professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, teaching courses in commercial law, company law, competition law, international business law, and sports law. He is an arbitrator on the List of arbitrators of the Permanent Arbitration Court of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (since 1999), the Croatian representative in the ICC Arbitration and ADR Commission (since 2004), vice-president of the Permanent Arbitration Court of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (since 2008), member of the Sports Arbitration Council of the Croatian Olympic Committee (from 2009), member of the London Court of International Arbitration (since 2011), and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister for European law (since 2012).
