Dr. sc. Iva Savić was born in 1983. She obtained her LL.M. degree in 2006, and her Ph. D. degree in 2014 from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, with a thesis on “Influence of Air Transport Agreements Between European Union and Third Countries on the Development of International Air Law”. She has been working at the Faculty of Law since 2007 as a Researcher on the scientific project “Croatian Transport Law and Challenges of the European Union Single Market“ , becoming a Senior Researcher in 2014.
Her areas of special interest are international air and aviation law. For this reason, she has been a Visiting Scholar at International Aviation Law Institute, DePaul University (Chicago, USA) and she cooperates with the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency and Zagreb International Airport. Also, she is a lecturer in the courses of Maritime and Transport Law, and Insurance law.
