Lukrecija Oreški is a student at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. She graduated from the Gymnasium of Varaždin and the High Music School in Varaždin as a musician-pianist. During her studies at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb she was a student assistant at the Chair of General Theory of Law and State, Chair of European Public Law and the Chair of Maritime Law and General Transport Law. Her interest in the organization of national and international law seminars and conferences commenced within ELSA Zagreb where she was the Vice President for Seminars and Conferences in 2014/2015. In 2015/2016 she was the assistant for the International Summer Law School of ELSA International. She also participated in the organisation of some major conferences like INTRANSLAW 2015 and Jean Monnet Seminar on Advanced Questions of European Law in 2015 and 2016. At the Moot Court Croatia 2014 she won the award for the best written submission. In 2015 and 2016 she worked at the Institute for Professional Development of Young People (Institut za stručno usavršavanje mladih) as the leader of the team for the writing and implementation of the projects financed from the EU funds. In the winter semester of 2016/2017 she will study at the KU Leuven (Belgium), as a part of the student exchange programme Erasmus +.
